Dancing, singing, cocktail flinging, our resident jewellery designer Kim with her irresistible energy inspires us every day to be ourselves, wear beautiful jewellery and drink tequila with your friends because life is hard enough to not make the rough edges sparkle.

Jewellery by Kim is a locally-owned boutique tucked away here at the Miami Marketta selling pieces designed by the one and only Kim Hurst. With a massive range of different styles Kim produces high quality authentic bohemian jewellery with celestial and coastal themes using semi-precious gems, crystals, gold, silver, clay and beading. She also has a range of homewares, ornaments and candles.

We all need a little sparkle in our step
For most people, jewellery is a normal part of our everyday life. We don’t really think about its inherent significance. Some of us may have items that are worn every day, whilst others are only for special occasions. Sometimes pieces just sit in a special spot at home never to be worn, just treasured as objects close to our heart. For thousands of years jewellery has been a means of expressing one’s identity and in truth it can have a big impact on how we feel on a day to day basis, helping us sparkle inside and out. ​​

The chronicles of Kimmy
For Kim, creating jewellery has been an important outlet for her creativity and self expression. She made her marketeering debut at The Village Markets in Burleigh 13 years ago, where she can still be found twice a month. After having great success there, she came and set up her market here at the Miami Marketta until eventually moving in as a permanent resident in one of our studios.
Kim channels her personal style and whimsical outlook on life into her designs,she's not afraid to be herself and she’s basically just an all round good time, “Follow your own arrow and aways be true to yourself.”
